He also holds an MS (Orth), Dip NB(Orth), FRCS(Ed), MChOrth (Liverpool), FRCS Trauma & Orth (UK), PhD, and D Sc(Orth). Throughout his career, Dr. C Rex has held several significant positions. He was the Past-President of the Indian chapter of the Institute of Biomaterials, Tribocorrosion, and Nanomedicine in Illinois, USA. He also served as the Past Secretary of the Coimbatore Orthopedic Society. Dr. C Rex has made valuable contributions to the field of Orthopedics through his editorial roles. He was a Section Editor for the Indian Journal of Orthopedics (IJO) and an Editorial member for the Journal of Orthopedics and Joint Surgery (JOJS). He is also a respected Reviewer for journals such as IJO, JOJS, and the Journal of Hand and Microsurgery. In addition to his editorial work, Dr. C Rex has been actively involved in various professional associations. He has been an Executive member of the Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association and an Examiner for a Post-doctoral fellowship in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy for Dr MGR Medical University. He has also served as the Organising Chairman of the Annual International Joint Arthroplasty course for the past four years. Dr. C Rex's expertise extends internationally, as he is an Associate member of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), AO Foundation, SICOT World Congress, British Orthopedic Association, and Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
